Blvk H3ro – It Nuh Easy

Blvk H3ro - It Nuh Easy

Blvk H3ro presents “It Nuh Easy”, the latest entry in his steadily expanding catalog of head-turning music. Reflecting on the state of affairs in his native Jamaica and the world at large, the new-wave Reggae innovator asks some tough questions of himself, his community and the politicians during this time of great turmoil.

Bouncing lively atop a bubbling dancehall riddim courtesy of The Koastal Kings & Biggs Fya Muzic, “It Nuh Easy” stirs the spirit, evoking a series of images in the mind of the listener that highlight some of the inequalities that perpetuate injustice in our societies.

With his signature inventive melodies and stinging social commentary Blvk H3ro continues his steady trod to greatness, one tuff tune at a time!

Australian superproducer Monkey Marc is teaming up with Turbulence, the reggae veteran who gave us the smash hit Notorious in 2006, and exciting Jamaican artists, Black H3ro and Yeza, for the new single, Rebel Code, which also features fellow Australian Mista Savona (Havana Meets Kingston) on keys.

Rebel Code is an upbeat and driving reggae tune, with an inspiring message of empowerment and a collective call for revolution.

The track is the lead single from Monkey Marc’s new album, Vital Sound (release date 13 Nov 2020).

The lyric video was created by acclaimed Jamaican artist Robin Clare.

Monkey Marc tapped 300K, Jamaica-based director, cinematographer and filmmaker 300K, for Rebel Code’s visual treatment. Hailed by Billboard as “one of Jamaica’s most in-demand music video directors”, the director looked to cult classic “Mad Max” as a springboard to explore themes of Black empowerment, revolution and legacy.

The track has recently been premiered on DJ Gringo’s show The Joint on SiriusXM, with solid upcoming support from Australian radio stations triple j, RRR, PBS, 4ZZZ, RTRFM and more.
