– Norris Man delivers Roots Music with Free Man Album
Free Man, the latest album from roots singer Norris Man is a phenomenal musical collection released on the Tad’s International Record label. The 11-song project is a compilation of potent rockers, reminiscent of the 1970s when that sound was dominant.
Free Man is produced by Tad Dawkins Jr. exclusively for Tad’s International which is based in Kingston, Jamaica and South Florida.
Norris Man, who is best known for songs like Persistence and Home and Away, delivers on Free Man. This album shines throughout with tracks that will resonate on the airwaves. Gun Hawk, To Jah I Pray and Jah Love are just some of the songs that make Free Man a potential classic.
Norris Man received support from a stellar cast of musicians on this project; many of whom have made their mark in the Roots-Reggae explosion that engulfed the world 50 years ago. They include drummers Sly Dunbar, Style Scott and Kirk Bennett; bass guitarists Lloyd Parks and Flabba Holt; keyboardists Robbie Lyn and Franklyn “Bubbla” Waul; guitarists Dwight Pinkney, Andy Bassford and Winston “Bo Pee” Bowen; saxophonist Dean Fraser, trumpeter Chico Chin and trombonist Nambo Robinson.
Free Man is easily Norris Man’s strongest work to date.
