– Zamunda and Fantan Mojah collaborate on ‘Roots Rock Reggae’, a song produced by Garfield Cowan for Natures Way Entertainment. Scheduled for release on July 4, it is the first single from the ‘riddim’ of the same name.

Cowan said it was Zamunda’s idea to record a song with Fantan Mojah, but on one condition.

“I told Zamunda that Fantan Mojah has to sing his part the way he sang, ‘Stronger’, his hit song back in 2009, which has over 33 million views,” he recalled. “The energy was great from the start; once Fantan heard the ‘Roots Rock Reggae’ riddim, he said, ‘this is a hit for sure!’”

The project is the first in 2025 for Natures Way Entertainment, a South Florida-based company best known for producing hit songs like ‘Let me Love You Tonight’by Wayne Wonder and ‘Wake Up’ by Jah Cure.

It is Zamunda’s latest song for the company, his previous being a cover of Chris Brown’s ‘Angel Numbers’ (his version is known as ‘Energy’).

Unga Barunga ,Welsh Bass and Big Ras from Heavy Weight RockazI, Iba Mahr, Ginjah, Turbulence, Anthony B, and Cathy Matete from Kenya also recorded songs on the ‘Roots Rock Reggae’ beat, which was recorded at Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston.
