Donnovan Reid, who goes by the stage name “Don Reid”, handles the day to day activities in the Banking world, but had a yearning to take on his greatest passion, music. With a successful Bank Manager role at the National Commercial Bank, his creative side kept calling and in September 2018, he decided to do his first professional recording.

Working with veteran Producer Danny Browne, a visit to the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital earlier this year and his experience there became the inspiration for the witty single. The track was released on November 1, and is available on various online platforms for purchase and streaming. The Artist is currently working on a promotional campaign complete with a music video, and a launch party which will be held later this month.
“I have a passion for music, and I have always been doing comedic skits and songs and posting them online. “Hospital Food” is the first time I am handling my work professionally,”he said. With his day job in mind, Don Reid has managed to get the support of NCB prior to the single’s release, and is now seeking the assistance of the NCB Foundation to give support to the Hospital. He also promised a donation to the Hospital from 30% of the single’s sales revenue.
