Sentinel did score at "Sound fi Dead" Soundclash in New York City. On Saturday May 7th SENTINEL was taking part in one of the most anticipated soundclashs of 2016: “Sound fi Dead” at the La Roose Catering Hall in the Bronx, New York City. The EVERLASTING SOUND from Germany, which was played by the two selectors Daniel and Allgi, was competing with the jamaican legends Tony Matterhorn and Pink Panther, as well as King Shine from New Jersey and Poison Dart from Florida. Being considered the total underdog before the clash, the GERMAN LUGER SOUND perfectly managed to surprise the soundclash fanatics during the event. Sentinel got a lot of heavy forwards for dubplates and speeches during the event. Even though Matterhorn and Panther, who won the trophy at the end of the night, had the dance “pon lock” after the third round, SENTINEL made it to the 4th round, which was the last one before Dub fi Dub. This result is surely one to be proud of! With their stunning performance the two selectors definitely put SENTINEL back on the soundclash map and have the people talking about the GERMAN LUGER again. And one thing is for sure: This was just the beginning!
